When First National Bank of Brookfield opened its doors on Grand Boulevard in 1962, this wonderful community had been without a bank for 30 years. A group of 10 community leaders led by Carl J. Demme – also the first president of the Brookfield Chamber of Commerce—saw the bank as an anchor for development benefiting Brookfield’s businesses, schools, and residents.
Since then, we have experienced the same spectacular growth as Brookfield itself. The bank moved to its current location in 1972, then doubled the size of the building by 1998. At every step, we have added the products and services our customers want and expect. We succeed when our community succeeds – and our community succeeds when we take the time to learn and understand its needs.
