CPR Class at Hop District
Sunday, March 8, 2026 — A very substantial program inspired and hosted by Hop District—presented by our friends at the La Grange Park Fire Department. Participants learned lifesaving skills and gain peace of mind, plus earning a CPR certificate. Over 30 La Grange Park residence are now CPR Certified! 🏘🚒
There’s more than antiques at the La Grange Park Antique Mall
Friday, March 13, 2026 — La Grange Park Antique Mall partners with local groups to collect Easter season donations. Special thanks to thank Sharon Flaim from Catherine's Community Closet for her generous donation of Girl Scout cookies so the the “neighbors” of Share Food Share Love Food Pantry can receive cookies with their Easter Dinner donation! The Antique Mall values its partnerships with Village of La Grange Park, Brookfield Women's Club of Illinois, LaGrange Park Chamber of Commerce, Hop District Community Brewing Co. and our customers.
31st Street Corridor Transportation Plan Public Open House
Wednesday, March 18, 2026 — Great turnout and discussion at the Public Open House for the 31st Street Corridor Transportation Plan at Fire Station #2 (1010 E. 31st Street). This drop-in event shared preliminary plan recommendations and the emerging vision for improving safety, accessibility, and the overall corridor experience along 31st Street and Barnsdale Road.

Legislative Breakfast
Thursday, March 26, 2026 — We attended the West Suburban Chamber of Commerce & Industry annual Legislative Breakfast hosted at Plymouth Place in La Grange Park. The breakfasts create an opportunity for chamber and community members to meet with their legislators, and expert panelists to discuss issues affecting our communities and businesses.

Thursday, March 26, 2026 — La Grange Park Antique Mall was buzzing with all the CARS Volunteers coming together to have a great time.
Easter Egg Hunt
Saturday, March 28, 2026 — The Community Park District of La Grange Park hosted it’s annual Easter Egg Hunt in Memorial Park. Thousands of brightly colored eggs vanished within minutes Saturday morning as children dashed across the park collecting eggs filled with treats and small prizes.
The Easter Bunny made an appearance during the hunt, posing for photos and greeting families as the morning unfolded, continuing a tradition that has become a seasonal highlight for the community.
