Please join the Community Park District as they honor all veterans and current military personnel at their fourth annual Memorial Weekend ceremony at 1pm at the La Grange Park Veterans Memorial (Oak and Sherwood).
The military ceremony, hosted by Robert E. Coulter Jr. American Legion Post 1941, will include:
- National Anthem by the Park Jr. High School Forte Singers
- Wreath presentation by Boy Scout Troop 111
- Reading of the names of the bricks that have been installed in the past year
- A Twenty-One Gun Salute
- Playing of Echo Taps by Patrick King & Danial Tuohy
There will be limited seating for seniors and those who require special assistance.
Feel free to bring your own chair and enjoy the short ceremony.
Please note that additional parking is available at the north end of Jewel's Parking Lot.
